Tushar Kalia is a choreographer dancer and actor from India. He is the Season 12 winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi (2022). He is an expert in Mayurbhanj Chhau Kalari and Contemporary dance. Kalia worked as a choreographer on the dance reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 (2013) and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2014). He was also the stage director for the sixth and seventh seasons of India's Got Talent (2015—2016).

Career

Tushar Kalia needed some experience before launching his career as a Bollywood choreographer. He collaborated with a company that arranged performances all over the world for this objective. Tushar then appeared as a participant on the dance reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Ja. He took part alongside his partner Ekta Kaul. Tushar however was eliminated after a few weeks.

He was able to enter the competition again thanks to a wildcard entry. And this time he was accompanied by his new partner Sana Saeed. Tushar then appeared in the seventh season of Jhalak Dikhhla Ja alongside the beautiful dancer Shakti Mohan. His appearances in both of these dancing show thrust him into the spotlight. His choreography gained widespread acclaim.

Tushar got the chance to choreograph in Karan Johar's films after appearing in these shows which were supposedly assessed by Karan Johar. His debut choreography was for the song "The Breakup Song" from the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Following that we saw his work in films such as Vaani Music Video for Yrf [Yaarmananani] Half Girlfriend Qarib Qarib single Ok Jaanu Hate Story 4 and Dhadak [2018].

Tushar has also worked with foreign choreographers and danced in the Motherland production in Birmingham England. Later in his career he appeared in the dance film ABCD: AnyBody Can Dance. Tushar is also well-known for his role as a judge on ColorsTV's dancing reality show Dance Deewane.
