Tulsi Kumar, who was born on March 15, 1990, is best known for her work in Airlift (2016), Aashiqui 2 (2013), and Kabir Singh (2019). 

Tulsi Kumar Dua, better known by her stage name Tulsi Kumar, is an Indian playback singer, radio host, musician, and actor in the Bollywood business. She was born to businessman Gulshan Kumar, a talented singer and owner of T Series, and his wife Sudesh Kumari. She is the sister of the actress Khushali Kumar and the movie producer Bhushan Kumar. She runs Kids Hut, a YouTube channel with kid-friendly content like nursery rhymes and stories that is run by the record company T-Series.

Early Life And Childhood

Tulsi Kumar was born in a Punjabi Hindu household . Her father's name is Gulshan Kumar, businessman and founder of T-Series. Her mother's name is Sudesh Kumari. Divya Khosla Kumar is the sister in law of Tulsi Kumar.
The parents of Tulsi intended to refrain from having a third child after her brother Bhushan and sister Khushali.
But after Gulshan's mother passed away unexpectedly he appealed to the gods for a girl child. He was informed that he would become a father on March 15 the day his mother would return. On that day Tulsi was also born.

Education

Tulsi Kumar attended Lady Shri Ram College for Women in New Delhi to complete her Bachelor's degree in psychology and economics. She began attending Suresh Wadkar's Ajivasan Academy at the young age of six where she studied light classical music. There Pt. Vinod Mishra and Pt. Satyanarayan Mishra taught her music.

Family and Personal Life

Tulsi Kumar’s family consisted of five people which includes her parents late Gulshan Kumar Dua the founder of T-series and her mother Sudesh Kumari also her siblings Khushali Kumar her elder sister who is a fashion designer and Bhushan Kumar her elder brother the chairman of T-series as well as a film producer and music composer. According to one of the interviews Tulsi's biggest inspiration is her father himself. 

Husband

Tulsi is married to a businessman Hitesh Ralhan. The year 2013 saw their first encounter and they clicked right away. Hitesh and Tulsi exchanged vows in front of a large crowd in February 2015. For more than one and a half years they kept their relationship a secret.Currently they are happily together with a son named Shivaay.

Career

PlayHer debut album, Love ho Jaaye, was released in 2009. Kumar also created a music video for the title tune, which was released alongside the album. She also performed the songs Mujhe Teri from Paathshaala and Tum Jo Aaye from Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. In 2015, she sang the song Mainu Ishq Da Lagya Rog, in which her sister Khushali made her cinematic debut. It is a remake of the original song from the film Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin.

Tulsi sang Soch Na Sake, Sanam Re, Nachange Sari Raat, Ishq Di Latt, Salamat, Dekh Lena, Wajah Tum Ho, Dil Ke Pass, and Dil Mein Chupa Lunga in 2016 and Enni Soni in 2019. During the COVID-19 shutdown in 2020, she released a number of tracks on which she collaborated with Darshan Raval on Tere Naal and Millind Gaba on Naam. Her smash hit Tanhaai was released on T-Series' official YouTube account and has received over 11 ,000,000 views. Kumar released the single Pehle Pyaar Ka Pehla Gham in 2021, co-written with Jubin Nautiyal. Parth Samthaan and her sister Khushali appear in the song video. She and Nautiyal launched a new single Main Jis Din Bhula Doon in February 2021, which featured Himansh Kohli and Sneha Namanandi.

In February 2021, she was seen hosting Season 2 of Indie Hai Hum. Later, she launched her chart-topping romantic ballad ''Is Qadar,'' which she co-wrote with Darshan Raval, and the music video shows them both. Kumar and Nautiyal's Amazon Prime Mixtape season 3 was released on June 30, 2021. Tera Chehra and Jaan Meri were among the tracks included in the mixtape. Darshan Raval and Tulsi Kumar's #ShaadiWalaSong Tera Naam was released on October 5, 2021. This is the duo's third collaboration. Within 24 hours of its release, the song had 9 million+ views and was trending at #2 on YouTube Global Charts. This song has received a lot of praise from fans.
