Sunjay J Kapur is a billionaire businessman and chairman of Sona Comstar (Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited) an Indian-origin global automotive systems and components manufacturer with its headquarters in Gurugram.Sona Comstar is a public company that trades on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India.
He currently serves as the president of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA) and as a co-chairman of the Manufacturing Council Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is also a member of the IPSS Doon School's board of governors in Dehradun India.

As vice chairman and managing director of Sona Koyo Steering System Ltd. in 2008 he aimed to improve human capital resources in a health-conscious atmosphere. He was appointed chairman of the supervisory board of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited in 2009. Kapur is now the chairman of Sona Comstar. Kapur was appointed Global Chairman of The Entrepreneurs' Organization from 2007 to 2008. Kapur was elected president of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India in August 2021. Kapur is also a member of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) National Council and served as Co-Chair of the Smart Manufacturing Committee from 2017 to 2020.
