Sriti Jha is an Indian television actress who predominantly works in Hindi. In 2007 she made her acting debut as Malini Sharma in Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. Jha rose to prominence with her depiction of Pragya Arora in Kumkum Bhagya for which she received several honours including the Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role and the ITA Award for Best Actress Drama.

Jha has played Suhani in Shaurya Aur Suhani Sudha/Devika in Jyoti Jhanvi/Sia in Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava and Ganga in Balika Vadhu. She has also appeared on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 10.

Dhoom Machaao Dhoom

Dhoom Machaao Dhoom is a 100-episode Indian musical television sitcom that aired on Disney Channel India from January 8 2007 to January 10 2008. The plot centers around Priyanka Sethi and the Pink Band a band she starts with three pals. The show is one of the first original Disney Channel India series.

The show is renowned for providing a platform for numerous actors who went on to have successful television careers including Sriti Jha Kinshuk Mahajan Toral Rasputra Maanvi Gagroo Vikrant Massey and Jay Bhanushali.

Balika Vadhu

The show is divided into two sections. The first season Balika Vadhu - Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte aired for 2 164 episodes and followed Anandi and Jagdish who married as children. The second section Balika Vadhu - Lamhe Pyaar Ke lasted 84 episodes and depicted the life of Anandi's daughter Dr. Nandini popularly known as Nimboli who was a child bride. The serial completed its eight-year run on July 31 2016.

Balika Vadhu became one of the most-watched Hindi GEC series throughout its run and it was one of the programmes that helped Colors TV defeat Star Plus to the top spot in Hindi GEC for the first time in nine years. The series got both positive and bad criticism. While some praised the series for depicting child marriage issues never previously seen on Indian television others attacked it for celebrating child marriage.

Kumkum Bhagya

The show's concept was inspired by Jane Austen's 1811 novel Sense and Sensibility. The series began with the story of the Arora sisters Pragya and Bulbul and their mother Sarla Arora's wish for them to marry. Pragya marries a rockstar Abhishek "Abhi" Mehra and Bulbul marries Abhi's friend Purab. Bulbul tragically dies. The hardships in Abhi and Pragya's marriage persist. Abhi accuses Pragya of being responsible for his grandmother's death and the two are separated.

The show rose to the top five most-watched shows across all GECs. After only a few weeks it was billed as the biggest fiction debut of 2014. The show is extremely popular among Indian women. The show also competed with the long-running Hindi GEC leader Diya Aur Baati Hum which aired in the same time period on Star Plus.

The show has frequently been criticized for its repetitious plotline and for featuring strange and illogical plots. The show's creators have faced substantial criticism on social media for depicting unique drama bigamy and breaking laws and regulations in the show.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 is the tenth season of the Indian reality and dance television series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions Company. Manish Paul hosted the season which was judged by Karan Johar Madhuri Dixit Nora Fatehi and Terence Lewis. From 3 September 2022 until 27 November 2022 the series aired on Colors TV and was digitally streamed on Voot. Gunjan Sinha was crowned the show's winner.
