Hero is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language romantic action film written and directed by Nikkhil Advani co-written by Umesh Bist produced by Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai under Salman Khan Films and Mukta Arts and distributed by Eros International. 

The film stars debutantes Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty son of actor Aditya Pancholi and daughter of actor Sunil Shetty in a remake of Ghai's 1983 blockbuster film of the same name which starred Jackie Shroff. Aditya Pancholi plays a significant role in the film. The film was released worldwide on September 11 2015. The movie received mixed to negative reviews.

Irfan Kamal wrote and directed the 2019 Indian Hindi-language action drama film Satellite Shankar. Cine 1 Studios and SCIPL produced the film which stars Sooraj Pancholi and Megha Akash. The film based on the lives of Indian soldiers tells the story of an Indian soldier's adventures (played by Pancholi). 

The principal photography began on September 6 2018 and was shot across ten Indian states. Shankar an Indian Army soldier is injured in cross-border fire. After consulting with doctors the senior officer advises him to take an 8-day break. Shankar requests leave rather than rest; officers agree and tell him to report to work on the eighth day. 

While travelling he assists citizens and misses his train. His story is covered by an online news reporter who does not acknowledge him. Later in the story he returns to his home and then back to duty in a short period of time.

Sneh Vadhani teaches the lead actors how to perform latin ballroom dances.

The criminal case was supposed to start in March 2018 but it hadn't started as of November 2019 which Pancholi attributed to Khan's mother's refusal to proceed. Pancholi has denied any involvement in Khan's death describing himself as a scapegoat for her suicide attempt.
