Shenaz Treasury is an actress, model, and travel writer from India. Shenaz Treasury was born to a Gujarati Parsi family in Mumbai on June 29, 1981. She started out as a model and has been in a lot of TV ads, including ones for Gold Spot, Philips, Trigger Jeans, Akai, Elle 18, and many more. Then she started working for MTV as a VJ.
Shenaz moved to New York, USA, in 2001 to take classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and a writing class at New York University. She was thrilled to finish this 8-month class at the same school as Robert De Niro and Al Pacino. She got into Bollywood in a very exciting way when she lost her luggage, passport, and visa papers while flying on Kuwait Airways and couldn't go back to New York. This turned out to be helpful because Ken Ghosh found out about it and asked her to be in Ishq Vishk (2003). She was nominated for the Filmfare Awards for her role in Ishq Vishk, which became a huge box-office hit all over Asia. Since then, she has been in a number of other films. She enjoys taking pictures, playing the piano, traveling, scuba diving, surfing, dancing, riding horses, and writing.

During her freshman year of college, a photographer took her portrait and gave her her first modeling job, which was for the ad campaign of the soft drink Gold Spot. Before MTV Networks Asia hired her to work as a VJ on the program MTV's Most Wanted, she did advertising work for Akai and Philips. In addition, she also worked as a model. Her acting debut came in the 2001 Telugu film Eduruleni Manishi, followed by the 2003 Bollywood film Ishq Vishk, for which she received a Filmfare Film Awards nomination for best supporting actress. Due to her lifelong fascination with travel, she contributed to publications such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Femina by writing travel articles. At the beginning of the 2010s, Treasury established her home in Mumbai, India, and began hosting Culture Shock on the Travel Channel. She was cast as Rama Patel, a recurring character, on the American daytime soap opera One Life to Live in the year 2011. A few months later, she signed a contract with the show that would last until the show's cancellation in 2012, and then she came back as a contract player when the show began airing its webisodes in 2013.
