Career

Domestic Career

In 2008 when Shashank Singh was 17 years old he participated in his maiden game for Mumbai's under-19 cricket team. He afterward enrolled in the DY Patil Cricket Academy and began playing club cricket for their squad. Shahshank was chosen for the senior T20 team of Mumbai in 2015 after scoring an unbeaten 65 runs off 23 balls in a local cricket match in Cuttack. 

In a Twenty20 encounter on April 1 2015 for Mumbai against Cuttack in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy he began his domestic cricket career. His list was created on December 10th 2015 in Hyderabad for the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy a cricket debut versus Punjab. 

He decided to go to Chattisgarh in 2019 so he could continue playing cricket for the Chattisgarh cricket team. He joined the team after making his first-class cricket debut for Chattisgarh on December 9 (against Odisha) in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy. 

He's had the opportunity to participate in nine first-class cricket matches so far scoring 436 runs at an average of more than 43 including a century and three half-centuries. and his bowling where he has taken 4 wickets. Additionally in the 23 List-A games he has played thus far he has amassed 536 runs at an average of 29.77 including his two half-centuries.

T20 Debut

On April 1 2015 he made his domestic T20 cricket debut against the Orissa squad. As of this writing Shashank has scored 424 runs in 32 T20 matches at a strike rate of above 142.

IPL Career

In 2018 Delhi Capitals and Shashank first worked together. However they were not given a chance and were released. Then for 30 lakh rupees the Rajasthan Royals purchased him in 2019. Rajasthan kept this player on for 2020 as well. 

However my dream of making my IPL debut was dashed when I was left out of the starting XI for a single game. This athlete sat on the sidelines for 4 years then on April 9 2022 against Chennai Super Kings he finally made his IPL debut with the SRH team.
