Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De a teen musical series featured her later. Sana Makbul became her screen name when she appeared in the Telugu film Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya in 2014. She portrayed the aerobics instructor Samhitha with whom a father and son fall in love in the movie. She signed on and began filming for the Rajkumar Periasamy-helmed crime thriller Rangoon in Tamil. She is collaborating with Vishal Vishishtha on the 2019 Hindi television series Vish: A poisonous story. Sana participated in the Cape Town South Africa-filmed Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 reality TV series in 2021 and she advanced to the semifinals.

Khatron Ke Khiladi: Fear Factor (Darr vs Dare) is an Indian reality and stunt television series produced by Endemol Shine India. Colors TV aired the show from July 17 to September 26 2021. Rohit Shetty hosted the show which was shot in Cape Town South Africa. This season's winner was Arjun Bijlani while the first runner-up was Divyanka Tripathi.
