Rinku's first role as an actress was in the 2016 Marathi movie Sairat. The remake of Sairat, Manasu Mallige (2017), was her first movie in Kannada. Sairat is a 2016 Indian Marathi-language romantic tragedy film directed by Nagraj Manjule and produced by Manjule himself through his company Aatpat Production, along with Nittin Keni and Nikhil Sane through Essel Vision Productions and Zee Studios. It's the first movie for both Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar. It's about two young college students from different castes who fall in love and cause trouble between their families.

The first thing Manjari does in the morning is run to the movie theatre to tell Nandu what happened. Both of them had bad things happen, which made them feel better. After that day, they get together to watch films, go for walks and go out on dates. They stay there until one day they decide to leave. They leave early in the morning on a city bus, which takes them to the out-of-town bus stops. When they get there, Nandu buys two tickets for them both. Then, they go their separate ways, each to a different place with different hopes and dreams for a better life.

Hundred is an Indian action comedy series with Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru in the main roles. It is directed by Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah, and Taher Shabbir, and it was aired on Hotstar's Hotstar Specials label on April 25, 2020. The plot of the series is about Netra Patil (Rinku Rajguru), who has a terminal illness and finds out she only has 100 days left to live.
