Vamsam was an Indian Tamil-language family soap opera that aired from 2013 to 2017. It starred Ramya Krishnan Urvashi Sandhya Jagarlamudi Sakthi Saravanan Sai Kiran and Bharath Kalyan. It took the place of Rajakumari and aired on Sun TV Monday through Saturday from 10 June 2013 to 18 November 2017 for a total of 1338 episodes. 
The show was also aired abroad through Channel's foreign distribution. Sun TV and Sun TV HD broadcast it throughout Sri Lanka South East Asia the Middle East the United States Canada Europe Oceania South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. The episodes of the show were made available on the YouTube channel Vision Time.

Andal Azhagar

Rishikesh Kalyani Stalin and Ramya appear in the 2014 Indian Tamil-language soap opera Andal Azhagar. It aired on Vijay TV from 8 September 2014 to 8 April 2016 at 7:30PM (IST) and from 11 April 2016 to 6 May 2016 at 6:30PM (IST) for 416 episodes. Francis Kathiravan wrote and directed the series. On April 13 2016 the show's 400th episode aired. It reunited Stalin and Ramya who had earlier appeared in Saravanan Meenatchi (2011-2014).

The plot revolves around two rival families. The issue began when Vadivu ran away with Murugesan (a poor man) and married him. Their parents allegedly died of grief and there is tension between the family. Azhagar and Aandal meet and fall in love. Azhagar and Sakthi (Andal's second brother) are buddies despite their animosity. Sakthi has romantic affections for Azhagar's sister Revathi.

Uyire is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language soap opera that will show on Colors Tamil from January 2nd 2020 to March 7th 2021. The first season was a success and was remade but the second season garnered low ratings which resulted in the show's discontinuation.
 Manishajith and Amruth Kalam star in the show. Season 1 of this series was a replica of the Hindi language television series Choti Sarrdaarni. Nirosha produces the show under the name Box Entertainment. Pavithra who is carefree falls in love with Varun who desires to be an IAS officer. She gives birth to his child.

Baakiyalakshmi

Baakiyalakshmi is an Indian Tamil television serial that airs on Star Vijay. This is a genuine remake of the Star Jalsha show Sreemoyee. It can also be found on Disney+ Hotstar. It was supposed to launch on March 16 2020 however due to the COVID-19 lockdown it was moved to July 27 2020. Baakiyalakshmi Baakiya is a loving wife mother and daughter-in-law. 

Her three children from her marriage to Gopinath Gopi are Chezhiyan Ezhil and Iniya. Gopinath is having an affair with his ex-fiancée Radhika who is parenting her single-mother daughter Mayura. Bigg Boss Tamil 3

Bigg Boss 3 was the third season of the reality television game show Bigg Boss which premiered on June 23 2019 with 17 competitors. For the third time Kamal Haasan hosted the show. The show was broadcast on Star Vijay. Hotstar also provided television-aired material.
For this season the house at EVP World in Chembarambakkam Chennai was entirely refurbished with a Chettinad-themed decor. It is the only season of Bigg Boss in which a foreigner has won. Mugen Rao a Malaysian musician won the title with Sandy coming in the first place. Losliya Mariyanesan a Sri Lankan Tamil newsreader came second while Sherin Shringar a film actress came third.

Masala Padam

Masala Padam is a 2015 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed shot and co-produced by Laxman Kumar and Vijayaraghavendra. The film stars Shiva Bobby Simha and Gaurav as well as Lakshmi Devy who in addition to playing the female lead also wrote the screenplay. Karthik Acharya composed the music and background score while Richard Kevin edited the film.

The film's audio rights have been acquired by popular audio company Lahari Music. Lahari Music a pioneer record label is re-entering the Tamil music industry with Masala Padam. Auraa Cinemas distributes the film. The film was released on October 9 2015.

Ko 2

Sarath who previously worked as an associate director/screenplay writer for films such as Unnaipol Oruvan and Billa II co-wrote and directed Ko 2 in 2016. Elred Kumar produced the film which stars Bobby Simha and Nikki Galrani with Prakash Raj reprising his role from the first film. Bala Saravanan Ilavarasu and John Vijay appear as extras. Leon James created the music while Richard Kevin edited it. 
This film is a remake of Nara Rohit's 2014 Telugu film Prathinidhi. The film was scheduled to be released in April 2016 as a standalone sequel to the hit 2011 film Ko but it was instead released on May 13 2016.

Pei Mama

Pei Mama is a Tamil horror comedy film directed by Sakthi Chidambaram and starring Yogi Babu that was released in 2021. Bakiya Cinemas produced it and it was released on September 24 2021. Sakthi Chidambaram grew interested in casting Yogi Babu after media reports claimed the actor was scheduled to replace Vadivelu in the canceled sequel to Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei (2006).

Despite his reservations the actor opted to participate in the film and finished filming by November 2019. During the filming of Kumily comedy actor Krishnamoorthy died of a heart attack.
