Before making her acting debut in the 2016 movie Anuraga Karikkin Vellam she hosted a number of Malayalam television programmes. Malayalam Debut- Anuraga Karikkin Vellam (2016)

The 2016 Indian Malayalam love comedy Anuraga Karikkin Vellam was directed by Khalid Rahman. Produced under August Cinema by Shaji Nadesan Prithviraj Sukumaran Santhosh Sivan and Arya. Asha Sharath Rajisha Vijayan Asif Ali and Biju Menon play the leading parts. The story which was written by Naveen Bhaskar centres on the relationship between Raghu a regular man and his son Abhilash. Prashant Pillai wrote the soundtrack and background music for the movie.

On July 7 2016 Anuraga Karikkin Vellam was released. Rajisha Vijayan's portrayal earned her the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 2016.

Tamil Debut- Karnan (2021)

Karnan is a 2021 Indian action drama film in the Tamil language that was produced and directed by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The movie features Rajisha Vijayan Lal Yogi Babu Natarajan Subramaniam and Dhanush. Theni Eswar handled the cinematography Santhosh Narayanan created the music and Selva R. K. edited the movie. The 1995 Kodiyankulam caste violence was a loose inspiration for the movie. In it the title character Karnan who comes from a conservative family fights for the rights of his people.

The movie was released in January 2020 under the working title Karnan after a short-long pre-production period. Most of the movie is filmed in the rural Thoothukudi district. After the movie's release production began and it was finished in December 2020 despite the COVID-19 epidemic delaying it. 

To rave reviews it was released in theatres on April 9 2021. Although the COVID-19 pandemic-related restrictions prematurely interrupted its cinema run it was also one of the biggest grossing Tamil movies of 2021. The Indian Express among other publications listed Karnan as one of the top Tamil movies of 2021.

Jai Bhim (2021)

Jai Bhim is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language legal drama film that was produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the banner of 2D Entertainment and directed by T. J. Gnanavel. Suriya Lijomol Jose and Manikandan are the movie's main actors. Rajisha Vijayan Prakash Raj Rao Ramesh and other actors play supporting roles. A marginalised group is the target of state violence and police racism in the movie. 

It centres on the lives of Sengeni and Rajakannu a couple from the Irular tribe and is based on a real-life episode from 1993 that involved a lawsuit that Justice K. Chandru fought. Police detained Rajakannu who was later reported missing from the police station. Sengeni asks Chandru a lawyer for assistance in her fight for her husband's rights.

The movie started primary photography in April 2021 after being officially announced with numerous parts being shot in Chennai and Kodaikanal. The COVID-19 epidemic forced a pause to film which started again in July 2021. That September it was completed. S. R. Kathir and Philomin Raj were in charge of the film's cinematography and editing respectively. Sean Roldan created the score and music for the movie. The film's title alludes to a B. R. Ambedkar supporter's catchphrase.

As part of a multi-film agreement inked by 2D Entertainment Jai Bhim was made available on Amazon Prime Video on November 2 2021 just before Diwali. The script performances director and social message of the movie all got high appreciation from critics and several media rated it as one of the greatest Tamil and Indian movies of 2021.

Telegu Debut- Ramarao on Duty (2022)

Ramarao on Duty is a 2022 Indian Telugu mystery action drama film Produced by SLV Cinemas and RT Team Works. Sarath Mandava is the writer and director it stars Venu Thottempudi Divyansha Kaushik Rajisha Vijayan and Ravi Teja in supporting roles. 
The story revolves around Ramarao an upright civil officer on a quest to fight corruption and aid the poor. The movie's production got underway in July 2021 in Hyderabad and it was also filmed in Spain and Andhra Pradesh. On July 29 2022 Ramarao on Duty received mixed to unfavourable reviews from critics upon its theatrical premiere.

Sardar (2022)

A spy action movie titled Sardar released in 2022 in the Indian Tamil language. It was written and directed by P. S. Mithran and it will be produced by S. Lakshman Kumar for Prince Pictures. Karthi plays two characters in the movie and other notable actors include Raashii Khanna Rajisha Vijayan Chunky Panday Laila Rithvik Munishkanth Yugi Sethu Avinash and Balaji Sakthivel. Indhra Rani Bose's wife and Vijay's mother is played by Rajisha Vijayan. Ruben edited the movie with cinematography by George C. Williams and music by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Chunky Panday an actor best known for his work in Hindi films makes his Tamil film debut.

The movie was first announced in November 2020 and filming began in April 2021. Production was delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and filming resumed in January 2022 in Chennai Mumbai Mysore Azerbaijan and Georgia. Filming was completed in June 2022 and work on post-production began in July 2022. Prior to Diwali week on October 21 2022 Sardar was released in theatres. 

Both reviewers and viewers gave the film overwhelmingly positive reviews applauding the star cast's performance (particularly Karthi Raashii Chunky and Rithvik). At the box office the movie was both critically and financially successful earning over US$13 million (100 crores) globally.
