Priyanka Jawalkar became well-known with Rahul Sankrityan's Taxiwaala. She then made an appearance in the just-released film Thimmarusu. In an interview the actress revealed her health problems and the reason for the gap in her filmography. 

In an interview Priyanka discussed her health problems and related how while filming Thimmarusu her makeup artist suggested that she see a skin specialist. She said that she developed rapid outbreaks of acne. This occurred at the Thimmarusu shoot last year. Priyanka went to the doctor on the recommendation of her makeup artist and found out that she has a hormone imbalance the actress claims. 

After a series of blood tests Priyanka continues she discovered she had thyroid problems which also contributed to her body weight difficulties.

Priyanka Jawalkar relocated to the US after completing a course in statistics there and began her career by spending 6 months working for an MNC in Hyderabad.

The male lead in the novel Raghav has a particular disease that causes him to dream each time he falls asleep and to talk about his dreams in public. In order to move past his unfortunate circumstances and go forward in his life he must remember that dream. Raghav's efforts to recall that dream enable him to recover his long-lost love played by Sporty thanks to those efforts. This is told in a suspenseful climax sequence.

Taxiwaala (2018)

Rahul Sankrityan is the director of the 2018 Indian Telugu supernatural comedy thriller film Taxiwaala which was also produced by UV Creations and GA2 Pictures. With music by Jakes Bejoy the movie stars Vijay Deverakonda Priyanka Jawalkar and Malavika Nair with Madhunandan Ravi Varma and Shiju playing supporting parts. It was a Hindustan Contessa that had been modified.

The movie opened to favorable reviews on November 17 2018 and it was a financial success.

It was directed by Sharan Koppisetty. Satyadev Kancharana Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay play the three main characters in the movie. 

The movie is a remake of the Kannada film from 2019 called Birbal Trilogy Case 1: Finding Vajramuni which was itself based on the Korean film from 2017 called New Trial. Sricharan Pakala is the composer of the soundtrack. Mahamanthri Timmarusu of the Vijayanagara Empire is honored in the title of the movie. The movie premiered on July 30 2021.

Ramesh Karutoori Venki Pushadapu and Gnana Shekar V.S. produced it under the Kria Film Corp. and Kali Productions labels.
