An Indian rapper songwriter and music producer from New Delhi India Prabhdeep Singh is also known by his stage name Prabh Deep. After the release of his debut album Class-Sikh which debuted at number 2 on the iTunes India albums chart and soon rose to number 1 by the end of the year he became well-known in the Indian music industry.
Indian MC Prabh Deep is from New Delhi. Prabh who has a distinctive voice with elements of traditional Punjabi folk vocalists has been at the forefront of Delhi's hip-hop movement. In addition to being a recording artist he promotes and plans MC battles around the city.

Prabh Deep's father's name is Manmohan Singh and small-business owner Jaswinder Kaur lives in the Tilak Nagar neighborhood of West Delhi. He lost his father Manmohan Singh and four brothers in a killing spree by furious mobs that were allegedly helped by the Delhi Police and Indian National Congress during the 1984 riots in Nangloi Jat Delhi.
Manmohan experienced post-traumatic stress disorder and acquired addictions despite the birth of Prabh Deep in 1993. Jaswinder Prabh Deep's mother used the money from her hair salon to support the family as a result.
Due to the ineffectiveness of the Indian educational system Prabh Deep made the decision to leave high school just before his board exam for the 12th grade. His mother agreed with his decision to drop out of school and pursue a career in music.
Prabh Deep subsequently joined a street gang participating in street fights menial occupations like reselling used phones and motorcycles at a markup and serving as a middleman for money lenders due to the family's mounting financial difficulties and bullying at school.
Before pursuing a full-time career in music he later worked for three years as a contact center executive and a brief period as a salesman at a clothing store. Prabh Deep and his childhood friend Happu who is now a rapper saw a dance crew performing stunts at a park in the summer of 2008. He and Happu joined a hip-hop dance club in the nearby community of Vikaspuri after being inspired by the urban dance style and they spent the following few years honing their b-boying skills. Prabh Deep slowly transformed from a dancer to an emcee while working as a call center executive and salesperson all the while being in close contact with the Delhi hip-hop scene.
Rapper Zan Twoshadez and hip-hop cultural expert Jaspal Singh brought Prabh Deep to open mic nights and other similar events in Delhi which served as the starting point for his rhyming career. Prabh Deep and independent music producer Sez on the Beat started co-producing songs in 2015 after connecting on Facebook. He was signed by Sez to the independent label Azadi Records. Sez's home studio was used to create Class-Full Sikh's self-titled first album.
With his song Sherni for Anurag Kashyap's 2018 play Manmarziyaan Prabh Deep made his Bollywood debut. Additionally he composed and sang the song Toofan Main for the Paatal Lok original soundtrack an Amazon Prime crime series.
K I N G Prabh Deep's self-produced EP was released in 2019. He released his sophomore album Tabia in 2021. This became Pitchfork's first review of an Indian hip-hop album. He released Bhram his third album in 2022.
