Biography

Payal Sharma also known as Piyu Sharma is a boxer and a fitness trainer. She is now known for her debut in the television industry through the reality show called MTV Roadies season 19. She is also a skilled boxer and fitness trainer. 

Childhood and Education

While there is no evident information about her age and birthdate yet, she was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. She comes from a Brahmin family. From February 2006 to August 2011, Piyu Sharma attended Bosco Public Senior Secondary School. She later enrolled at Ryan International School in Noida, where she studied from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Delhi University. 

Relationship

Piyu Sharma had a romantic relationship that ended in the year 2022. It ended due to a fight. During the personal interview phase of MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand (Season 19), Piyu discussed her connection with Priyanka Gupta, revealing that she had five stitches on the back of her skull during their argument. Priyanka, on the other hand, stated that her actions were in self-defense in response to what she claimed was an initial attack by Piyu.

Career

Piyu worked as a fitness trainer at BOMISO Gym, a well-known fitness club in Gurgaon, from June 2020 to February 2022. She began freelancing in February 2016, creating Piyu Holistic Fitness in Gurgaon. She demonstrates her knowledge in the industry by providing online personal training to individuals and groups through her freelance job. Piyu featured in the youth-oriented Indian reality show 'MTV Roadies - Karm Ya Kaand' (Season 19) hosted by Sonu Sood in 2023.

Roadies Karm Ya Kaand is the nineteenth season of the Indian reality show MTV Roadies, produced by Banijay Asia.Sonu Sood hosts the show, which premieres on MTV India on June 3, 2023 and is available digitally on JioCinema. It also sees the return of gang head Prince Narula, as well as new gang leaders Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty. Shiv Thakare, an ex-Roadie, appeared on an episode during the Auditions. MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand auditions were held in Chandigarh on 13 April 2023, Delhi on 15 April 2023, Indore on 20 April 2023, and Pune on 22 April 2023. Piyu Sharma got into the gang of Gautam Gulati.

Controversy

Priyanka and Piyu were thrown into an emotional twister later in the show. They were tasked with dancing on a sheet while revealing something they admire and something they despise about each other. Priyanka launched the work and expressed her displeasure with Piyu's fast temper; nevertheless, she swiftly complemented Piyu for her compassionate treatment of animals. Piyu responded by calling Priyanka "insensitive." When the show's judge, Rhea Chakraborty, urged Piyu mention something positive about Priyanka, Piyu said, "Her smile." Rhea Chakraborty, Gautam Gulati, and Prince Narula all smiled tenderly at that moment.

• Piyu adores animals. She presents herself as a dog mum and owns a female labrador.
