She afterward pursued a bachelor's degree in commerce. 

Navneet Kaur Rana’s mother and brother encouraged her acting profession even though her father disapproved of her aspirations to become an actress. Kaur stood as an independent candidate in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections where she was chosen as an elected Member of Parliament (MP) from Amravati.

E. Srinivas directed the 2003 Telugu drama tragedy film Seenu Vasanthi Lakshmi. Along with Padmapriya Janakiraman and Navneet Kaur R. P. Patnaik portrays the title character a blind rural singer in the movie. 

The movie is a remake of Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum from Malayalam in 1999. R. P. Patnaik wrote the soundtrack and the film's score. Despite being a financial failure when it was first released the movie has now gained cult appeal thanks to several television reruns.

Married to Aastha (Navneet Kaur) Sameer (Jatin Grewal) relocated to Dubai. Sameer is hired as a Manager at Chetna's business. Slowly Chetna finds herself drawn to Sameer. Even though Sameer does not want to cheat on his wife Chetna blackmails him. 

The remainder of the narrative focuses on Aastha's efforts to rescue Sameer with the aid of Jairaj Mittal and eliminate Chetna and her business.

The main setting for the movie is a sizable auditorium at a facility in Kochi that recycles bottles. Orphan Machu made a fortune by selling scrap metal. Untrained Machu wants to maintain a low profile and spend time with his two companions Shukkoor and Narayanan. 

When Andrews Perreira an Anglo-Indian financier tricks Machu into putting all of his riches in Perreira's investment company his life is forever changed. To add life to his investment deception Perreira poses as if he attempted suicide. This is what the uninvolved investors including Machu think and they pardon Perreira since they think it wasn't his fault. When Machu meets Diana Perreira's daughter and expresses a desire to marry her the film takes an unexpected turn. 

However Perreira once more betrays Machu by switching his daughter with the daughter of his neighbor an old friend of Machu. Everything goes wrong on the wedding day when Machu and his pals attempt to confront Perreira about his misdeeds but find that he has already fled to Singapore with his daughter. The plot then turns hilarious when Machu and his sidekick attempt to track down Perreira and Diana in Singapore.
