Lavanya Tripathi is an Indian actress who works primarily in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in the Hindi television series Pyaar Ka Bandhan (2009) and her film debut in Andala Rakshasi (2012) for which she received the CineMAA Award for Best Female Debut.

Tripathi began her modelling career in 2006 when she has crowned Femina Miss Uttarakhand. She had initial success after her cinematic debut with Doosukeltha (2013) and Bramman (2014). (2014). Tripathi was praised for her performances as a dancing teacher in Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015) and as a lonely wife in Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016).

The title Chuttalabbayi was rejected since Aadi and Veerabhadram had picked the same for their upcoming film. Lavanya Tripathi was chosen to play the love interest in this film which also stars Rao Ramesh.

The film directed by T Santhosh follows the narrative of Arjun Suravaram an investigative journalist who gets arrested for using bogus certifications to swindle banks. Ssshhhh... Koi Hai is an Indian horror thriller television anthology series made by Star Plus Cinevistaas Limited and Contiloe Entertainment.
