Keemo Paul: Domestic and T20 Career

On January 16 2015 he participated in the 2014–15 Regional Super50 competition marking his List A debut.Paul was chosen for the West Indies team for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in December 2015. Paul caused significant controversy throughout the competition when he managed a batter in the penultimate over of the West Indies and Zimbabwe's final group match. 

The West Indies won the game came in second in their group as a result qualified for the quarterfinals and ultimately won the competition. He averaged over 40 with the bat throughout the campaign and claimed seven wickets including two against India in the championship match.

On March 18 2017 he made his first-class debut for Guyana in the regional four-day competition for 2016–17. On August 5 2017 he made his Twenty20 debut for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League. His first century in first-class cricket came in October 2017 while batting for Guyana against Jamaica in the 2017–18 Regional Four-Day Competition.

He received the Emerging Cricketer of the Year award at the 2018 Cricket West Indies Awards in June. He received a development contract with Cricket West Indies (CWI) for the 2018–19 season in October 2018.

He was purchased by the Delhi Capitals in December 2018 during the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He was chosen to represent the Montreal Tigers franchise club in the 2019 Global T20 Canada competition in June 2019. He was included in the Guyana Amazon Warriors roster for the 2020 Caribbean Premier League in July of that year.

Keemo Paul: International Career

Sheldon Cottrell's injury forced the addition of Paul to the West Indies team on March 9 2018 for the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier event. On March 15 2018 in a World Cup qualifying match against Afghanistan he made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the West Indies.

For their Twenty20 International (T20I) series against Pakistan in March 2018 the West Indies selected him for the team. Against Pakistan on April 1 2018 he made his West Indies T20I debut.

He was included in the West Indies Test squad for the series against Bangladesh in July 2018. On July 12 2018 he played his first Test for the West Indies. Paul's first five-wicket haul in T20Is came in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh in December 2018.

He was selected as one of the 10 reserve players for the West Indies team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup by Cricket West Indies (CWI) in May 2019.
