Biography 

Kanwar Dhillon is an Indian television actor. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 15 March 1993. The Buddy Project (2012) was Kanwar Dhillon's acting debut; he played the role of Kunal. After playing Shiva Pandya in the film Pandya Store, he became well-known. He has been nominated and won two awards by the Indian Television Academy.

Playing the role of Aditya Vyas Bhatnagar in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2 was Dhillon's first big screen performance. His other significant roles include Piya Rangrezz's Arjun Singh and Do Dil Ek Jaan's Vidhaan Nayak.

Struggle 

Until he got into the entertainment industry, he said in an interview, he had a hard time finding work. He tried out for several roles before finally breaking through on the internet. Unfortunately, he did not benefit from his father's extensive network in the industry. Discussing the matter, he, said 

“I told my father I wanted to be an actress when I was eighteen. "All right, go struggle; that's how we did it," he added. Use the bike I gave you for your college commute, then head to the audition. I therefore went from Thakur College to Aaraam Nagar, Andheri every day after college for a year straight, standing in a large wait for advertisements' auditions, none of which have ever worked out for me. "I'm so angry that I refuse to attend meetings because I've tried so hard to find advertising and not a single one has worked out for me. I've given up attending ad meetings. Yes, I have lived through those times, and I'm grateful my father made sure I learned my lessons the hard way rather than the easy way.”

Career

Dhillon debuted in acting with The Buddy Project in 2012 and received his breakthrough role as Aditya Vyas Bhatnagar on Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha's second season in 2013. He worked on other shows such as Do Dil Ek Jaan, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Hum Hain Na between 2013 and 2015. He played Arjun Singh on Piya Rangrezz (2015-2016), and dual roles on Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee in 2017. Dhillon also participated in Box Cricket League 3 and acted in Internet Wala Love and a music video in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Since 2021, he's been portraying Shiva Pandya on Pandya Store, earning him wide recognition and award nominations. He also hosted Star Plus's segment Pyar Ka Pehla Nasha and reprised his role in a 2022 game show.

Pandya Store

Star Plus debuted the family drama series Pandya Store on January 25, 2021, in India. The show is dubbed in Hindi. Disney+ Hotstar is where you can watch it digitally. This series is an official remake of Star Vijay's Tamil show Pandian Stores, and it is produced by Sunjoy and Commal Waddhwa's Sphere Origins.
