Biography 

Inder Kumar, an Indian actor, was born on August 26, 1973, and sadly passed away on July 28, 2017. He was renowned for portraying supporting roles in Hindi films, with notable appearances in movies like Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, and Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. He shared a close friendship with Salman Khan and acted alongside him in several films. His last on-screen appearance was in the film Chhoti Si Guzaarish, directed by Pragyesh Singh.

On 28th July 2017, Inder Kumar passed away due to a cardiac arrest at his residence in the Four Bungalows neighborhood of Andheri, Mumbai. The incident occurred around 12:30 am, and he was officially announced dead by 4 am.

Education

Inder Kumar attended St. Xavier's High School in Fort and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya, both located in Mumbai. He completed his graduation from there. During the initial stages of his career in the movie industry, he received guidance and mentorship from film publicist Rajoo Kariya, who introduced him to film producers. Rajoo Kariya played a crucial role in shaping Inder Kumar's career in the film industry during his early days.

Wife

Inder Kumar was married three times throughout his life. Sonal Kariya, the daughter of his mentor Rajoo Kariya, was the bridegroom's first wife in 2003. However, they were only married for five months before splitting up while Sonal was still carrying Khushi, their first child.

After that, he dated the actress Isha Koppikar for 11 years, on and off. Later, in 2009, he married Kamaljeet Kaur, but regrettably, their marriage was short-lived due to their irreconcilable differences. He married Pallavi Sarraf in 2013, and the two had a daughter they named Bhavana who was born in early 2014.

Career

Inder Kumar made his debut in the film industry with the movie Masoom in 1996. Throughout his career spanning over twenty-one years, he appeared in more than 20 films. In the 1990s, he had a promising start as a supporting actor, featuring in notable films such as Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Ghoonghat (1997), Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye (2000), Gaja Gamini (2000), Maa Tujhhe Salaam (2002), and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge (2002). He also ventured into television, starring in the Star Plus serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002, where he portrayed the character of Mihir Virani opposite Smriti Irani.

Unfortunately, Inder Kumar's career faced challenges when he suffered a broken vertebra from a helicopter fall while performing his own stunt on the set of the film Maseeha in 2002. This left him bedridden for five years, impacting his professional journey.

After a hiatus, he attempted a comeback in the Bengali film Agnipath in 2005, which did not perform well at the box office. Despite facing several flops, he made a successful comeback in 2009 with his role as Salman Khan's friend in the movie Wanted, which turned out to be a blockbuster hit.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was a popular Indian Hindi-language soap opera that aired on Star Plus from 3rd July 2000 to 6th November 2008. The show was co-produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms.

The storyline centered around an ideal daughter-in-law named Tulsi Virani, who was the daughter of a pandit (priest) and married to the grandson of the wealthy business tycoon Govardhan Virani. The character of Tulsi Virani was portrayed by Smriti Irani. The show gained immense popularity and became a significant part of Indian television during its run.

CID

CID is an Indian police procedural television series created by B. P. Singh for Sony Entertainment Television India. The show features Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Srivastava as Sr. Inspector Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty as Sr. Inspector Daya, Dinesh Phadnis as Inspector Fredricks (Freddy), and Narendra Gupta as Forensic expert Dr. Salunkhe.

The series is set in Mumbai and aired for an impressive 20 years on Sony Entertainment Television, making it one of the longest-running television series in India. It first premiered on 21 January 1998 and reached several milestones, including the 500th episode on 18 January 2008, 1000th episode on 13 September 2013, the 1500th episode on 25 February 2018, and the final episode on 27 October 2018. Throughout its run, CID gained significant popularity and left a lasting impact on Indian television viewers.

Wanted

Wanted is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Boney Kapoor. It is a remake of the 2006 Telugu film Pokiri. The movie features Salman Khan in the lead role, along with Prakash Raj, Ayesha Takia, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Inder Kumar. Additionally, Prabhu Deva, Govinda, and Anil Kapoor make special appearances.

The story is set in Mumbai and revolves around an undercover IPS officer who disguises himself as a thug. His killer instincts not only earn him his girlfriend's disapproval and a corrupt cop's enmity but also capture the attention of a wanted don. The film showcases action-packed sequences and intense moments.

The cinematography of Wanted was handled by Nirav Shah and Sethu Sriram, while Dilip Deo edited the film. Sajid-Wajid composed the soundtracks, and Salim-Sulaiman contributed to the background music score. The movie features songs filmed in Australia and other foreign locations.

Upon its theatrical release on 18 September 2009, Wanted received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics and audiences. The performances of Salman Khan, Prakash Raj, and Mahesh Manjrekar were highly praised, along with the music, humor, and mass moments. However, the direction and use of clichés faced criticism. Despite the mixed reviews, the film became a commercial success, grossing approximately ₹93 crore (US$12 million), making it one of the biggest hits of 2009. Wanted also earned 3 IIFA nominations and 1 Filmfare Award.

 Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi

 Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language action film starring Akshay Kumar, Rekha, Raveena Tandon, and former WWF (now WWE) wrestler Brian Lee. 

In Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Akshay Kumar plays the lead role, and Rekha portrays the role of a villain, making it her first antagonist role. The film was indeed a part of the popular Khiladi series, but it wasn't the fourth installment. It was actually the sixth movie in the series.

The film's storyline revolves around a woman who seeks vengeance against a professional wrestler (played by Akshay Kumar) after the death of her brother. The movie gained considerable success and was well-received by the audience.
