In the Bollywood industry the Super Cassettes Industries Limited (T-Series) music label was established by Indian businessman film and music producer Gulshan Kumar Dua. He built T-Series into a leading music label in the 1990s after founding it in the 1980s.
His younger brother Krishan Kumar and son Bhushan Kumar have subsequently taken over the management of T-Series following his passing. Playback vocalists Tulsi Kumar and Khushali Kumar are his daughters.

November 1997: 26 people were charged in a 400-page charge sheet that was filed by the police. 15 people were taken into custody. Mohammed Ali Shaikh one of the defendants later became an approver in the matter. According to the police's chargesheet submitted to the sessions court the murderous scheme against Gulshan Kumar was planned in Dubai at the workplace of Dawood Ibrahim's brother Anees.
