She made her acting debut in the 2004 Telugu film Love Today opposite Uday Kiran.

Divya Khosla Kumar began her acting career in 2004 with the Bollywood film 'Ab Tumhare Hawale Hai Watan Sathiyon.' Shweta Rajeev Singh was played by Divya Kumar in the film. She made her Tollywood debut in the film 'Love Today' the same year. Later she also made an appearance in music video songs including 'Akkad Bakkad' and 'Humne Pi Rakhi Hai' from the movie 'Sanam Re'. In 2017 she also appeared in the short film 'Bulbul ' directed by Aashish Panday.

Divya Kumar made her directorial debut with the film 'Yaariyan' in 2014. Following that she directed another romantic drama 'Sanam Re.' She also dabbled in production in 2015 making her debut with the film 'Roy ' starring Ranbir Kapoor. Afterward she also did some production projects including 'Khandani Shafakhana' 'Batla House' and 'Marjawaan'.

Additionally she appeared in some music videos including 'Kabhi Yaadon Mein Aun' sung by Abhijeet Bhattacharya and 'Zid Na Karo Ye Dil Ka Mamla Hai'. In 2019 she appeared in the music video 'Yaad Piya Ki Anay Lagi' by Neha Kakkar.
