She made an attempt at acting in 2012 and was successful in getting the part of Pankhuri in the television series Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. She rose to fame in the Indian television business as a result of her appearance in the serial.

Before beginning her acting career she worked in numerous local print shoots fashion shows and commercials in Delhi. Disha portrayed Jia Mehra/Jhanvi Agarwal in Zee TV's Woh Apna Sa opposite Sudeep Sahir in 2017. She took part in a number of TV reality programmes including I Don't Watch TV  an Indian Sitcom which aired on Arré – Cameo.

She appeared on Bigg Boss Season 9 as a Guest and on Box Cricket League Season 1.
