In Bengaluru Karnataka Dabang Delhi K C defeated Patna Pirates 36-37 in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 championship game. Three-time champion Patna Pirates were defeated by Dabang Delhi. Because of his 304 raid points in 24 games Pawan Sehrawat was named the season's top raider. A cash prize of Rs. 3 crore was awarded to the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 champion. 

In a stunning victory over Patna Pirates on Friday Dabang Delhi won the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) for the first time. Bengal Warriors narrowly defeated Delhi in the season's championship game but coach Krishan Hooda's team stunned Bengal Warriors the second time around. Once again the raiding prowess of Naveen Kumar and Vijay helped the team out. The pair scored 27 points or 73% of their team's total points after snagging Super 10s. Sandeep Narwal and Manjeet Chhillar each scored two points for the defense who finished with four total points.
