In addition to that, he maintained a career in the theatre and as a mimicry performer.
In 1985, he made his debut on television with the Telugu program Pakapakalu, which was broadcast on DD Telugu and was well-received by the audience. Jandhyala, the director of Aha Naa Pellanta! 1987, saw him perform on the show and decided to cast him in the film version of the role. This turned out to be his breakout performance. He has received six state Nandi Awards, one Filmfare Award South, and six CineMAA Awards throughout the course of his career which has spanned more than 35 years.
Brahmanandam was born on 1 February 1956. He is currently 67 years old. His zodiac sign is Aquarius.
Brahmanandam holds a Master’s degree in Arts in Telugu language. The Acharya Nagarjuna University conferred upon him an honorary doctorate in recognition of his achievements.
On February 1, 1956, Brahmanandam was born in the village of Chaganti Vari Palem in the district of Sattenapalli in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. His parents are Nagalingachari and Lakshmi Narsamma. Brahmanandam was one of a total of eight children, and his father worked as a carpenter. After earning his Master of Arts degree, he began working as a Telugu lecturer in the West Godavari district's Attili town.
Brahmanandam got married to Lakshmi Kannegaati. They welcomed two children into the world: Raja Gautham and Siddharth. Gautham is also an actor, and his film credits include roles in Pallakilo Pellikoothuru 2004 and Manu 2018, among others.
Alongside his job as a lecturer, Brahmanandam maintained careers in the theatre and as an impersonator. The author and playwright Adi Vishnu was the one who put them in touch with each other. NCV Sashidhar worked for Doordarshan DD. Soon after that, in 1985, he made his debut on television in the Telugu language with the show Pakapakalu on DD Telugu. The audience seemed pleased with his participation in the show, particularly with his performance. It was after watching his performance in the show that the director of the film Aha Naa-Pellanta! 1987 decided to cast him in the role that would prove to be his breakout performance. In the same year, he had roles in the films Pasivadi Pranam and Swayam Krushi, both of which were critically acclaimed.
The first movie he acted in was called Sri Tatavataram, the second movie he acted in was called Satyagraham, and the third movie he acted in was called Aha Naa Pellanta! Later in 1988, Sri Tatavataram was made available to the public. Since 1991, Brahmanandam has portrayed a wide range of comedic characters as well as a few serious characters in various films. In 1991, he had starring roles in several critically acclaimed films, including Kshana Kshanam 1991 and Rowdy Alludu 1991, among others. The films Chitram Bhalare Vichitram 1991, Jamba Lakidi Pamba 1992, and Yamaleela 1994 were cited by the Times of India as examples of movies that one can watch over and over again without tiring of them.
Brahmanandam has made an appearance in all of these, and his participation is widely regarded as one of the primary reasons for the commercial success of these films. In 1992, he made his debut in the title role of Babai Hotel, which he had previously held. As a result of his performance as Khan Dada in the film Money 1993, he was given the Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian. This was his first major award. After the success of the film, a sequel to it titled Money Money 1994 was also produced, and Brahmanandam was cast in the same role as he had been in the original. Griddaluru Gopalrao, a film critic for Zamin Ryot, lauded both Brahmanandam's role and his performance in the film Hello Brother 1994 in his analysis of the movie.
It is widely acknowledged that Aha! Naa Pellanta!! is one of the very best comedies ever filmed in the Telugu language. The character of Kota Srinivasa Rao as a miser and his mannerism Naakenti? became very popular. It was Brahmanandam's role as 'Ara Gundu' that broke him out into the public eye, as he was the recipient of widespread praise from both the audience and the media.
The movie had a production budget of 16 lakhs, but it ended up grossing more than 5 crores at the box office, making it a huge success. The film's producer, D. Ramanaidu, stated that the money he made from the movie was instrumental in the launch of his own production company, Ramanaidu Studios. The movie was remade in Kannada in 1990 and given the title Challenge Gopalakrishna.

He steals her lipstick ad idea with a bug under her desk. He later mocks and accuses her of plagiarism. Harika resigns from Prasad after Abhi's verbal abuse. Prasad asks her to consider it and explains Abhiram's history and hatred of women.
It was produced on a budget of 55 lacks, and it brought in more than 3 crores from distributor shares. Despite his many job rejections, Bose prefers to make money honestly, while Chakri thinks being honest won't. Bose loves his landlord's daughter Renu Renuka Shahane, but he can't marry her because they're behind on rent. Her father insults Bose and rejects his marriage proposal. Renu then threatens suicide unless Bose marries her.
Later, Chakri tells him his honest efforts have failed and Bose will be blamed if Renu follows her ultimatum. Bose reluctantly kidnaps Vijaya Jayasudha for easy money. Paresh Rawal married Vijaya without money. Vijaya's father left his inheritance to her, leaving Rao's luxury and job to his wife. Rao is in debt and cheating, but his wife controls their money. Rao's hitmen keep failing to kill his wife for the property. Rao's plan to kill her fails when Bose and Chakri accidentally kidnap her and lock her in their room to avoid suspicion. When the police arrive, Rao flees the fort and hides in a Gujarat-bound car. Vijaya marries Renu after telling the officer. The film ends with Subba Rao hiding under a bed in a Gujarat dhaba when the police arrive.
