Aayush and Arpita realized they were the ones who knew each other the best and fell in love as a result. He recounted that Aayush only became anxious and proposed to Arpita after she informed him that she was considering settling down and was planning to enter into an arranged marriage. 

I got agitated. I admitted to liking her when I called her at six in the morning. Arpita took a day to respond and Aayush claimed he was worried about how embarrassing it would be if she declined. After Arpita approved of their relationship Aayush had one more hurdle to clear: persuading Salman Khan Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan to concur. The actor described Salman's feelings when he initially learned that Arpita and he were seeing each other. Aayush disclosed that he was at Arpita's residence where the two of them were sharing a movie at night. 

Nobody showed up when the couple was supposed to be joined by her other friends. Aayush was dubious about the scheme because he was concerned about Salman's possible reaction and only felt at ease after Arpita confirmed that he was in Karjat. Ayush got the answer from his brothers that they were ok with the relationship. Ayush and Arpita decided to get married.

Aayush and Arpita got married on November 18 2014 and are blessed with two adorable kids a son Ahil Sharma and a daughter Ayat Sharma.
