Ankur Warikoo was born in New Delhi on August 25 1980 to Kashmiri Pandit parents from Srinagar. He is currently 43 years old as of 2023. His zodiac sign is Virgo.

Education

Warikoo graduated from Hindu College in Delhi with a bachelor's degree in physics. He earned his MBA from the Indian School of Business. He enrolled at Michigan State University for a Ph.D. in astrophysics but subsequently dropped out.

Ankur Warikoo was born to Kashmiri Pandit parents. His father is Ashok Warikoo who worked in a medical firm and his mother is Neerja Warikoo. He is also known to have a younger sister.

Career

Warikoo started his career in 2008 by co-founding his first startup Accentium Web under which websites like Gaadi.com and Secondshaadi.com were run. In 2011 he became the CEO of Groupon India. In 2015 he became the CEO of Nearbuy.com. In 2019 he stepped down from Nearbuy.com. 

His first novel DO EPIC SHIT was published in 2021 and debuted at number one on the Nielsen bestsellers list in India. His new book GET EPIC SHIT DONE which will be published in 2022 is written as a conversation between a student and a teacher and answers 36 life questions.

Ankur worked as a Management Consultant for Kearney for three years before starting his own business. During this period he worked in Delhi Dubai and New York.

In response Mr Grover stated that he had never been informed anything more disrespectful and that he had only one rule: never use his and Mr Warikoo's names in the same sentence. He went on to add that he was so offended that he considered standing up and leaving. He informed the student he'd rather be cursed than compared to Ankur Warikoo.

Grover joked that he was offended by the comparison after carefully listening to the student's query. He stated that he had never been informed anything more offensive. The 40-year-old businessman went on to say that he is so insulted that he just wants to get up and leave.I'm so offended that I want to stand up and leave. You don't put his and my names together in the same statement. I only have one rule: utter whatever you want to me. You can abuse my mother and sibling without repercussions. But don't put me in the same category as Ankur Warikoo.
