His first song, Why This Kolaveri Di, which was written for the 2012 movie 3, went viral around the world and has over 300 million YouTube views. A.R. Murugadoss hired him to write the music for the 2014 movie Kaththi, which starred Vijay and had the viral hit Selfie Pulla in it. The movie's soundtrack was Anirudh's most well-known work until 2019 when he was hired to make music for Rajinikanth's film Petta. In 2016, he signed a record deal with Sony Music, which puts out his independent albums and live concerts. In the same year, he worked with Diplo to remix the hit song Cold Water by Major Lazer.
Anirudh Ravichander was born on October 16, 1990, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is 33 years old as of 2023. His zodiac sign is Libra.
In 2011, Anirudh Ravichander got his degree from Loyola College in Chennai, which he said was just a backup plan in case his music career didn't take off. The Trinity College of Music in London taught Anirudh how to play the piano. He was also in a fusion group. Ravichander also went to the Soundtech Media Audio Engineering Institute in Chennai to get a diploma in sound engineering. Anirudh and his band were on a reality TV show when he was in high school. The show was judged by A. R. Rahman, and his band was one of six winners.
Anirudh Ravichander was born into a family of creative individuals. Anirudh Ravichander is the son of the actor Ravi Raghavendra and the classical dancer Lakshmi Ravichander. He is also the nephew of Latha Rajinikanth. So, Rajinikanth is his uncle, and Aishwarya, Soundarya, and Hrishikesh are his cousins. Anirudh's great-grandfather was a movie director in the 1930s. His name was Krishnaswami Subrahmanyam.
Anirudh Ravichander's first job as a composer was for the movie 3, which was directed by his cousin Aishwarya R. Dhanush and starred Dhanush. While he was getting his degree at Loyola College, he did background music for Aishwaryaa's short films. His work on the short films convinced Aishwaryaa to hire him for her first commercial project. Early in November 2011, a song from the movie Why This Kolaveri Di! was leaked online, and the team behind the movie decided to make it official. Its funny Tanglish lyrics made it a hit right away on social networking sites. Soon, the song's YouTube video became the most-searched video in India and a big deal all over Asia. Since then, Anirudh has kept making chart-topping music that goes beyond boundaries. He has worked with well-known directors, actors, and singers, and his songs always catch people's attention and stick with them. Anirudh's versatility shows in the way he can mix different types of music and try out different musical elements to make a unique sound that sets him apart.
Anirudh is also a music composer and producer, but he has also shown how good a singer he is by singing several hit songs. His beautiful voice and unique way of interpreting lyrics have won him a lot of praise. Anirudh's work as a playback singer has made his songs even more popular, which shows how talented and versatile he is. Anirudh's incredible musical talent has been recognized, as he has won many awards and been praised for his work. He has won a number of important awards, such as the Vijay Award for Best Find of the Year and the Edison Award for Best Music Director. His background music for films has also gotten a lot of praise, which shows how good he is at making music that draws you in and makes you feel like you're there. Anirudh keeps pushing the limits of Tamil film music with each new project. His unique compositions and new ways of doing things keep people interested. Because he can connect with people through his music and make catchy songs, he has a lot of fans not just in Tamil cinema but all over India. Anirudh Ravichander's career shows how much he loves, is good at, and is dedicated to the art of music, and he has a bright future as one of the best musicians in the business.
Anirudh Ravichander says that the film's director, Aishwarya R. Dhanush, wanted a funny song about love that didn't work out. The tune was quickly written by Ravichander in about 10 minutes. Then Dhanush started working on the lyrics, which he finished after about 20 minutes of thinking about what to say. The first line he sang was Why This Kolaveri?, which translates to Why do you hate me so much, girl? But the question is not meant to be taken seriously.
Anirudh Ravichander composed the song Naa Ready for the Tamil movie Leo with Thalapathy Vijay. The song came out on June 22, 2023, as part of the party for Vijay's birthday. The track has vocals from Anirudh Ravichander, Vijay himself, and Asal Kolaar. Naa Ready is a lively and upbeat Tamil Kuthu song with a catchy tune and rhythmic beats. The song has gotten good reviews, and people are likely to like it.
People aren't just hooked on Kaavaalaa because of the music or voice of Anirudh Ravichander or Shilpa Rao. The song's catchy hook steps are another reason why it has become so popular. In some of the reels, the people take it very seriously and dance passionately to the music, while in others, they just have fun with it. f If Tamannaah's mesmerizing dance moves weren't enough, Rajinikanth shows up at the end of the song and dances with the Ayan actress. Even at 72 years old, no one is as charismatic as the Enthiran actor.
Arabic Kuthu starts with Anirudh's singing, then moves into an instrumental break that sounds like it came straight from Arabic pop. This has a similar mood and rhythm to Mettalaa Hajbo by Moroccan artist Karima Gouit, which has a catchy loop over a shifting rhythm. So, from how it starts, Arabic Kuthu sounds like a cool mix of Arabic and kuthu styles that Anirudh used to fit his own taste.
But after the short introduction, lyricist Sivakarthikeyan and music director Anirudh got rid of the Arabic theme and made a good dance number for Vijay. The song isn't as Arabic as Vidyasagar's Hey Shabba from Karna, for example. Even though he sometimes uses gibberish Arabic phrases like Halamathi Habibo, malama pitha pithadhe, and balhabeedha balhabi, Sivakarthikeyan soon goes back to his usual style of short, rhymed lyrics that are perfect for a kuthu song, like holi holi pakkathula sirikkum rangoli. Anirudh's song has only a basic Arabic flavour, and after a minute, it starts to sound more and more like a slower version of Paalam from Vijay's Kaththi. Like Anirudh and Sivakarthiyan's other songs together, Arabic Kuthu is a simple song that gets stuck in your head. The visuals and choreography are likely to make it even better, especially if the glimpses of Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lyric video are any indication. It reminds me of 'Selfie Pulla' by Beast.
Fans really like the song Vaathi Coming from the movie, especially since Vijay danced to it at the audio launch of Master. Now, the word on the street is that Thalapathy Vijay's movie Vaathi Coming is even gaining fans in the UK. Master also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and others besides Vijay. The movie is being paid for by XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studio.
