In 2023, Gunasekhar directed the mythological love drama film "Shaakuntalam" in Telugu. Based on the famous play "Abhijnanasakuntalam" by Kalidasa, the film stars Dev Mohan as King Dushyanta and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as Shakuntala. Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, and Allu Arha, who plays Prince Bharata, are among the supporting cast.

Gunasekhar unveiled the initiative in October 2020. Production of the movie started in February 2021 at Hyderabad's Annapurna Studios and concluded in August 2021. A budget of ₹65 crore was allocated for the production. Ramoji Film City, Ananthagiri Hills, and Gandipet Lake are among the several locations in Hyderabad where it was filmed.

When Allu Sneha Reddy’s returned from the United States She began her profession and worked as an assistant in her father's company before being appointed director of the Academic and Placement unit at SCIENT Institute of Technology (SIT). She mainly concentrated on mentoring young people and helping them realize their aspirations.

She also held the position of chief editor for the SIT College's SPECTRUM magazine which primarily focuses on the ideas and aspirations of the younger generation. She is also an engineer by profession.
