The drama centers on the lives of Dr. Saanchi Mishra a young medical student who joins the famous Savitri Devi College & Hospital in pursuit of her dream of becoming a successful doctor.

Saanchi is from a middle-class household and was raised by her mother Jaya who has a hidden history with the renowned Dr. Anand Malhotra the proprietor of Savitri Devi Hospital. Anand and Dr. Sunil Mishra Jaya's late husband were business partners. On Sunil's property Savitri Devi College and Hospital were constructed. The show also depicts the lives of Dr. Anand Malhotra his wife Gayatri their daughter Dr. Riya son Dr. Veer and daughter Priya as well as Anand's younger brother Adarsh and his wife Neeta. The hospital and college are named for Jaya's best friend Savitri the late wife of Anand.
