Akanksha Puri is a model and actress from India who works predominantly in the Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam film industries. Akanksha Puri was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, on July 26, 1988. She is the daughter of retired Assistant Commissioner of Police R.K. Puri and astrologer Chitra Puri.

Akanksha began her modelling career and has worked with a number of well-known brands, including Kingfisher and other well-known designers. She made her acting debut alongside Karthi and Anushka Shetty in the Tamil film Alex Pandian (2013). She rose to prominence for her portrayal of Devi Parvati in the popular mythological television series Vighnaharta Ganesha (2017–2020).

Lodde (2015) in Kannada, Calendar Girls (2015) in Hindi, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, and Amar Akbar Anthony (2018) in Malayalam are some of her significant cinema appearances.

Aside from her acting career, Akanksha Puri has received attention for her personal life, particularly her connection with television actor and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra. The couple eventually split up in 2020.

In 2010, Akanksha started her career as a model, during which she appeared in print photos for a variety of jewellery and ethnic wear brands, in addition to appearing in advertisements on television. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Alex Pandian (2013), and since then, she has acted in a variety of films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, including Tihar (2014), Praise the Lord (2014), Lodde (2015), Samrajyam II- Son of Alexander (2015), and Action (2019).

She has also done work in television, making her debut in the medium in 2015 with the Indian police procedural television series CID. She has worked in both film and television. She later appeared on the Hindi television series Vighnaharta Ganesha (2017-2020), in which she played the part of the Goddess Parvati.
