After graduating he began working for a private company called Thousand Lights Inc. in California. Sesh made his acting debut as a tiny guest in the 2002 movie Sontham. He made his directing and writing debuts with the 2010 movie Karma which also starred Sher Ali and Jade Tailor. The way Sesh portrayed Dev—a character who has the ability to predict events just seconds in advance—was favorably received. 

Sesh Adivi’s scripting abilities are also noteworthy. He may have taken an unusual route and a unique concept but he nonetheless made an effort to introduce something fresh to the Telugu film industry.

A romantic comedy movie in the Indian Telugu language titled Sontham was released on August 23 2002. Srinu Vaitla served as the director. Aryan Rajesh Rohith Sunil Namitha and Neha Pendse is the movie's stars.

Adivi Sesh’s Tamil Movie Debut as director- Karma (2010)

The supernatural thriller Karma was released in 2010 in the Indian Telugu language and it was directed by Adivi Sesh a novice. Jade Tailor is an American actress. Adivi Sesh an Indian who grew up in San Francisco makes his directorial and lead acting debut with the movie. 

Hollywood starlet Jade Tailor attended the film's audition after reading the synopsis in an advertisement. The movie was filmed in Pacifica Carmel and Big Sur. A crew made up of Hollywood and Indian technicians shot the movie in a single schedule over the course of fifty-eight days. James Laxton used a Red 4K camera to capture the movie. Jade Tailor received Telugu tutoring to aid in her language learning. 

The movie was based on a San Francisco vehicle tragedy that Adivi Sesh had survived. According to reports this movie was the first Telugu movie to be released in the country with subtitles and the first to be shot entirely in the country. Musicians from Hollywood Pete Wonder Leland Thunes and Justin Durban wrote the tunes. Six songs make up the soundtrack with two of them serving as background music.

Adivi Sesh’s Hindi Movie Debut as a writer- Major (2021)

The narrative and screenplay for Major an Indian biographical action film were written by Adivi Sesh and directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. Sesh portrays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the film which also stars Prakash Raj Sobhita Dhulipala Saiee Manjrekar Revathi Murali Sharma and Anish Kuruvilla and is based on the life of the soldier who died in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. A+S Movies Sony Pictures International Productions and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment are the producers of Major.

It chronicles Sandeep Unnikrishnan's personal and professional life and was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. The main shooting lasted from February 2020 through December 2021. The COVID-19 outbreak caused delays in the filming process. On a 32 crore dollar budget It was filmed in more than 75 locations over the course of 120 days.

Major had a limited theatrical premiere on May 24 2022 in a few Indian towns before becoming available everywhere on June 3 2022. The film's narrative directing emotional impact cinematography action sequences score and performances won praise from critics (especially Sesh). It was a financial success earning 64.66 crores globally making it one of the highest-grossing Telugu movies of 2022. At the 53rd International Film Festival of India the Hindi version is shown in the Indian Panorama category. 

Kshanam (2016)

Ravikanth Perepu is the director of the 2016 Indian mystery-thriller Kshanam. Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma play key parts in the movie which also has Sricharan Pakala's soundtrack and Shaneil Deo's photography. Anasuya Bharadwaj Vennela Kishore Satyam Rajesh Satyadev Kancharana and Ravi Varma play supporting roles. In the movie Rishi travels to India and starts looking for his ex-girlfriend Shwetha's lost child.

The movie which debuted on February 26 2016 was well-received by critics and viewers. It was afterward remade in Tamil as Sathya (2017) Hindi as Baaghi 2 (2018) and Kannada as Aadyaa (2020).

Kshanam made roughly 4.8 crores at the Telugu (AP and Telangana) box office in the ten days following its release.

Evaru (2019)

Evaru is a 2019 Venkat Ramji-directed crime thriller movie in the Telugu language. Pearl V. Potluri Param V. Potluri and Kavin Anne worked together to develop the movie. Adivi Sesh Regina Cassandra Naveen Chandra and Murali Sharma are all featured in the movie. The Spanish film The Invisible Guest (2016) by Oriol Paulo on which Evaru is partially based.
