Big STAR Entertainment Awards - India's leading People's Award

Introduction  The Big STAR Entertainment Awards were an annual ceremony held by Reliance Broadcast Network Limited in collaboration with STAR India to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry in the fields of film, music, television, sports, theatre, and dance.  The award is marketed as entirely viewer-driven, with online voting and SMS polling across all categories utilized to determine the winners from nominations to the final round. The award was announced on December 12, 2010, and the first-ever nominees for the 2010 Awards were revealed online on December 15, 2010, through various entertainment websites. The most recent awards event took place in 2015. The awards are studded with celebrities who play a major role in making the award ceremony a big hit. Celebrities like Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, and many more. Bollywood celebrities also participate in dance performances and entertain the viewers watching the ceremony.
