Zapatlela 2 Overview
On June 7, 2013, the Marathi horror comedy Zapatlela 2 saw its 3D debut. It is the sequel to Zapatlela, which was released 20 years earlier, and is directed by Mahesh Kothare (in 1993). The first Marathi movie to be shot entirely in 3D is Zapatlela 2.
Mahesh has said that a third movie in the series could be produced if the movie is successful and is dubbed into Hindi.

Zapatlela 2 Plot
The movie begins within Baba Chamatkar's residence (Raghvendra Kadkol). The gangster Tatya Vinchu, who was depicted in the last movie Zapatlela, has the doll containing his soul, and Kubdya Khavis, who managed to escape from prison, has ordered Baba Chamatkar to bring him back to life. He acknowledges that he and Tatya took the diamonds, which were formerly worth 5 crores but are now worth 50 crore, but only Tatya is aware of their whereabouts. He intends to assassinate Tatya once more by collecting all the facts. In addition, he gives Baba half the value of the gems in exchange for Tatya's revival. Baba, though, is adamant about never repeating the error. Kubdya, furious, attempts to kill him with a Trishul. What happens next is completely fun to watch.
