Ye Parindey is a popular Hindi Youth Fiction Tv show Telecasted on the channel V from the year 2011.

Ye Parindey follows the lives of children in remand homes, and is a first of its sort on Indian television. The drama was filmed in a real detention home in Matunga, Mumbai, and the characters, atmosphere, and style have all been kept as realistic as possible. These children have survived Mumbai's streets, but they don't want pity or compassion because of their situation; instead, they are survivors who don't think anything is impossible.

Along with fellow inmates Salim, Chota Packet, Kabir, Sundar, and Rustam, Jackie resides in a remand facility. The violent and nasty jailor Vaghmare, played by renowned actor Vaqar Shaikh, rules the remand facility. The character of Maya is then introduced in the show who makes it her mission to use music to teach these children and effect positive changes in them. The show will then follow her journey as she transforms the children and they utilise music as their ultimate weapon to achieve their freedom.
