Kabir (Hrithik Roshan), India's top agent, leads the Elite Shadow Unit of R&AW, a small squad of the armed forces' crème de la crème who are personally trained by him and operate with him on numerous high-risk missions throughout the world. Among Kabir and Colonel Luthra's primary targets is international arms baron Rizwan Ilyasi, who has been involved in a number of terrorist attacks against the country. Khalid (Tiger Shroff) has risen through the ranks of the Indian military. His greatest task and battle has been to overcome his father's misdeeds, formerly a decorated soldier working with Kabir who had turned traitor.Kabir is hesitant because of their history, but Colonel Luthra insists, and gradually, Kabir is captivated by Khalid's intense dedication and grit. Khalid becomes Kabir's greatest soldier, flirting with death mission after mission as they hunt down the country's adversaries, including an operation against Rizwan Ilyasi that nearly kills Khalid. However, a few years later, Kabir goes rogue, slaughtering India's own people.
