STAR Plus aired the Indian television programme Tere Mere Sapne from November 4, 2009, till December 16, 2011. Sphere Origins created the programme. Due to poor ratings, it was moved from its prime time debut to an afternoon time slot. It stars Ekta Tiwari, Yash Pandit, Parul Chaudhary, Sulaksha Khatri, Gnyan Prakash, and Chandresh Singh in important roles.

STAR Plus made the decision to terminate all of the remaining afternoon programming immediately after the episode.

The story of the show centres on Sarju, who was married to Radha as a young child. He adores his family and Radha dearly, but when his friend Kalua is accused of being involved in a crime in Mumbai, he rushes to support him and meets widowed Kamya there.

She owns a magazine and employs Sarju to work for it under the restrictions that he cannot leave Mumbai or get married. Kalua, who once worked in Kamya's office, is released after Sarju claims he is single. Sarju ignores Kalua's advice to avoid working with Kamya because she isn't a kind person. Radha learns about it from Kalua in the village and leaves her house to search for her husband. Instructing Radha to keep their marriage secret, Sarju tells her everything. Informing the family that she has come to look for her husband, Radha accepts and nods. She becomes a maid for the household. Radha's marital status as Sarju's wife is gradually revealed.

After learning that Radha is Sarju's wife, Kamya has been obsessed with him and is doing everything in her power to get close to him. The show's other midway arrival, Kamya's brother-in-law, who despises Sarju, eventually leaves. Kamya kills Radha because of homicidal inclinations brought on by an insane obsession. However, Radha is saved and makes a comeback as Sonia, who is posing as Radha. With the aid of Kamya's mother-in-law, who doesn't like her, the truth about the woman emerges. Sarju is then accused of raping Kamya by Kamya. By obtaining an excellent attorney, Radha is able to win the lawsuit. In addition to receiving a six-year prison term, Kamya must also pay Radha and Sarju 1 crore rupees so they may go back to their village.

Laachi, Sarju's sister-in-law, is ridiculed by her mother-in-law Ramdei around the village for failing to produce an heir to the family. She arranges for her son Kesoo to remarry Kalki, a woman who is already married to another man and expecting his child. Nobody knows about this. After giving birth to her child, Kalki experiences a lot and flees with the family's jewellery and cash. When Kesoo's impotence is discovered, he chooses to seek medical attention, but Ramdei is worried that word of this will get around the community and bring dishonour to the family name. Even though they now had Kalki's child to use as cover, Kesoo still goes forward.

Their lives are also being disrupted by Mrs. Hiraman, Phoolmani, and Vishnu, the son-in-law of Sarju's aunt (chachi). Invading the home of the family under the guise of Meera (Vishnu's lover), a girl named Rani chases Sarju. When Ramdei falls for Meera, she begins to hate Radha since she believes Radha is the reason Kesoo turned against her. Now that Rani's secret has been revealed, Kalki is back. Vishnu, a relative of Sarju, changes his behaviour. By fabricating a story about him torturing her for dowry, Kalki manages to put Kesoo in jail. She acts inappropriately around the entire family. Ramdei gradually understands what perfect daughters-in-law Radha and Laachi are.

They try to arrange for 8 lakh rupees to get Kalki out of the house because everyone despises her. They are unable to come up with the money, so everyone agrees to follow Radha's proposal to mortgage the house. To complete Kesoo & Kalki's divorce, Sarju and Radha have a conversation and obtain the divorce papers and affidavit. Later, they call Kalki and present her with the cash. Kalki tears the divorce document apart when Radha makes her sign it. Everybody is in awe. However, the family also possesses a second bag with another 8 lakhs, the divorce documents, and the affidavit.

Although Kalki has been "defeated," she still wants to steal the baby, so she convinces the family to let her remain the night before she departs in the morning. Laachi criticises her and calls her names. The family tortures Kalki once more. Kalki is able to convince Radha. Laachi is startled when Kalki removes the infant from her chamber in the middle of the night. They both fall asleep after Kesoo reassures her that it was merely a dream. The baby is gone and Kalki is nowhere to be seen the following morning. Laachi is startled and scrambles to find the infant. She fails, loses her mind, and then blames Radha. After cursing God, Laachi attempts suicide by injecting herself with poison taken from a deadly cactus plant.

Fortunately, she is saved, but she is under the impression that it is real. She believes she sees the baby, but when everyone else informs her there isn't one, she loses her mind once more.

Kesoo feels responsible, so Sarju, Radha, and the others try to console her. Laachi, who takes medication, experiences mental instability. By yelling at Laachi, Mrs. Hiraman worsens the situation. When Laachi leaves the hospital, everyone informs her that the baby has returned. Sarju, however, only purchased a doll from the store. Laachi treats it as though it were her own child. Mrs. Hiraman and Phoolmani continue their antics in the meantime. Mrs. Hiraman steals Sarju's phone at night and makes a call to her son, Gopal.

While he is displeased with their behaviour, Vishnu steals their phone and saves them while Radha searches for his phone. The phone is taken from the living room by Radha. When Sarju discovers Gopal's name in his contact list, he becomes suspicious. Then, Radha understands that it was Phoolmani and Mrs. Hiraman. The following morning, Kesoo informs Radha that Laachi has no known treatment. He commands Radha to reveal the truth. When Phoolmani enters Laachi's chamber, she informs her that her supposed "baby" is actually a lifeless toy. Laachi takes it seriously and threatens to kill Phoolmani if she speaks anything further about her "kid" Phoolmani feels anxious.

After Laachi recovers and becomes pregnant, Kamya returns to exact revenge on Radha in order to win back her affection. She therefore intends to cause Radha a lot of problems. Then, after Sarju frees Radha from prison for the murder of Gurumata (Kamya), Kamya throws Radha out, but she stays and reveals Kamya. Kamya is expelled from the house by Ramdei. Mrs. Hiraman and Phoolmani apologise to Radha for being pregnant.
