The Hindi-language romance drama TV show Tere Bin debuted on &TV on July 18, 2016, and it ran until November 25, 2016. Shree Sidhivinayak Chitra produced the television show. Along with Rohit Bharadwaj and Mahi Milan playing recurrent characters, the series featured actors Gaurav Khanna, Shefali Sharma, and Khushboo Tawde in lead roles.

The protagonist of the show is Dr. Akshay Sinha, who gave up his love for Vijaya, the fiancée of his deceased buddy, because she was expecting at the time. Akshay and Vijaya have been wed for many years, but their union is a legal one in which they look after for one another and live as a unit without having a husband and wife connection.

His longtime love, Nandini, shows up eight years later. He finds it difficult to explain to her what transpired and his decision to leave her. While Vijaya embraced her marital relationship and desired a life as a typical husband and wife, she was unaware that Akshay and Nandini were having an illicit relationship.

He is acting weirdly as a result of the pressure of the circumstance and hiding it from Vijaya, which worries Vijaya. First, Akshay desired to separate from Vijaya so that he could be with Nandini. However, each time he attempted to divulge his relationship with Nandini, he was stopped by himself.

Vijaya discovers the truth about Akshay and Nandini at last, but she issues a challenge to Nandini that if she cannot reconcile their marriage within a month, she will be permanently removed from Akshay's life. To the disappointment of her friend Irfaan, who has been urging her to move on, Nandini tries to entice Akshay back into her life and far from Vijaya. 

Akshay eventually began to understand his responsibilities and his emotions for Vijaya, and he told her about his previous connection with Nandini. Vijaya informed him that she had been aware of the situation for a few days. Following their declaration of love, the pair marries. Nandini, meantime, came to the realisation that she must go on because Akshay no longer loves her. She makes the decision to wed Irfan, who already cares for and loves Nandini.

Akshay, Vijaya, Irfan, and Nandini begin a new chapter in their lives as the show comes to an end.
