The show aired on Star One for three seasons and ended in 2010. It premiered on July 27, 2001, and lasted until May 16, 2010. On Star Plus Prime Weekend, the show used to air every Friday at 10:00 p.m. but was later moved to 10:30 p.m. Later, the show was re-run on Star Utsav, which aired every Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 p.m. in 2008.

Ssshhhh... Koi Hai Plot

The first few episodes featured stories ranging from horror to thrillers, while subsequent episodes introduced a ghostbuster named Vikraal, played by Mamik Singh, who traps ghosts. Later, the show switches gears after the reappearance of Mayakaal, the most powerful wizard who kidnapped Vikraal.

Guru Satyacharya recognized that Vikraal could not handle the matter alone and chose to enlist the assistance of Mritunjay's daughter Bijli and Captain Kishan. Mayakaal was vanquished by these three. The objective of these ghostbusters was to exorcise all of the world's ghosts and malevolent spirits. The Trikaal were three ghost-busters who were always ready to battle evil forces.
