Savitrijoti is a Marathi TV series based on Savitribai Phule and Jyotirao Phule who were  Maharashtrian poets, educators, and social reformers in India. She and her husband in Maharashtra significantly contributed to the advancement of women's rights in India. She is credited with founding the feminist movement in India.
