Salaar is an upcoming Telugu language action thriller movie that is scheduled to release on 28 September 2023. Salaar is written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirgandur under the banner of Hombale Films. It has a stellar star cast of Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao and Sriya Reddy, with Prabhas playing the titular roles of Salaar. Salaar's filming started on 16 January 2021 in Telangana, Hyderabad. Salaar's music was scored by Ravi Basrur and the budget is reported to be around 200 Crores, making it one of the most expensive Telugu films of all time.
