In an interview with Film Companion, Actor Babil Khan, son of veteran actor late Irrfan Khan, said that he does not like the word 'debut' because that makes the individual greater than the project. Babil also mentioned that had he not been Irrfan Khan's son, nobody would have cared about his debut and that even he would have had to struggle and give countless auditions to get a role in a project. Finally, he talked about the importance of his upbringing by his mother and Irrfan Khan's wife, Sutapa Sikdar, and how she has helped him be disciplined in life.
