Love...What Have You Done? is the subtitle of Rajat Mukherjee's 2001 Hindi-language romantic thriller Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, which was produced by Ram Gopal Varma. Fardeen Khan, Urmila Matondkar, and Sonali Kulkarni are the main actors. Sandeep Chowta composed the music for the film. The star of the movie, Matondkar, who made his directorial debut, is well recognised for his outstanding portrayal of an enamoured lover. It was a financially successful remake of the movie Fatal Attraction.

The only child of a wealthy businessman in Mumbai named Mr. Jaiswal, Ria (Urmila Matondkar) is a stubborn, reclusive, and irate woman (Suresh Oberoi). Jaiswal adores his daughter but worries about her tendency to get possessive. Ria departs one day for a trip to Goa. Jai (Fardeen Khan), a fashion photographer, and Geeta are a happy couple (Sonali Kulkarni). He meets Ria, snaps pictures of her without her consent, publishes them in the magazine he works for, and they become famous. The photographs help the magazine become popular. The main editor wants Ria to be a model for their publication, but she declines out of resentment toward Jai for using her photos without her consent.

She agrees to model when Jai persuades her, and they begin dating. She enters Jai's home with the intention of talking to him about marriage, but she is horrified to see Geeta there. Ria becomes depressed after being shaken and distressed.

Jai is shocked when Ria confides in him about her sentiments. He tells her that if they weren't married and he hadn't seen how much she was crying, he would have loved her. Jai divulges all to Geeta and makes a commitment to avoid Ria. Ria, however, finds it difficult to forget Jai and begins to get possessive of him. She contacts him in the middle of the night after she attempts suicide.

Jai is forced to intervene to save her and comfort her. Geeta is troubled by this and asks Jai to contact the police. Jai and Geeta reconcile and go on a date, but that same night, Ria has a breakdown, and Jai comforts her once more. Geeta is even more upset by this.

Unaware that Ria has also been invited, Jai joins Geeta for a corporate function. Ria is now obsessed with Jai and flirts with him in front of Geeta, who storms out incensed. Geeta storms out of the house after a heated confrontation with Jai. She resolves to return after realising her error, but Ria barges in and begins having a sexual encounter with Jai.

When Geeta enters the house and sees them, she loses control. She wounds her head when she unintentionally stumbles over a glass table. She is driven to the hospital by Jai.

Ria advises Geeta to end the marriage and focus on having a happy life with Jai. Jai does not love Ria as much as she believes, according to Geeta, and nothing can end their union. Ria's obsession leads Jai to decide to leave the city. Ria calls and requests a final meeting. While Mr. Jaiswal is present, Jai goes to meet him and tells him the truth. Jai calls Geeta and overhears someone attacking her.

Ria, who has become utterly unstable, is the one. In an effort to earn Jai's love, she makes an attempt to murder Geeta. Geeta tries to flee but is unsuccessful. Jai shows up just as Ria is about to murder her. He begs her to let Geeta to leave, or he will leave Geeta behind to be with her. Ria, who is now persuaded, rushes toward Jai, but he gives her a strong slap that knocks her out. When Mr. Jaiswal shows up, Jai informs him of what Ria did.

Six months later, Ria is staying at a psychiatric hospital while Geeta and Jai are now again content with their lives.

It's her birthday, and only Jai can have any effect on her, so her father asks him to meet her one last time when he gets to Jai's residence. Jai concurs. Ria loses control when she sees Jai and starts shaking him until her father and the hospital staff pull her away. As a result of Ria's mental state, Jai is left feeling guilty.
