The Punjabi-language film industry, which is centered in Amritsar and Mohali and is concentrated in the Indian state of Punjab, is known as Punjabi cinema, or Pollywood at times.

Diljit Dosanjh, Mandy Takhar, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Amrinder Gill, Prabhjyot Singh, Gippy Grewal, Jaswinder Bhalla, Jimmy Shergill, Sonam Bajwa, etc. are among the famous Punjabi actors.
