The plot centers around Ram Parmar's life. He is an actor who works in Raavan, a Ramayana drama directed by him. He's on his way home one day after his show when he comes finds Mandar Lele hanging himself in the middle of the road. In a swift heroic effort, RP saves him and realizes that Mandar is a terribly depressed guy who feels he is a burden to God and on Earth. He is a pretty pessimistic individual. He also discovers that Mandar is depressed as a result of a recent break-up with a girl named Nandini, whom he adores. Feeling sorry for Mandar, RP decides to assist him, establishing a long friendship between the two.
