Mahesh Narayanan is the director, writer, and editor of the political thriller movie Malik, which was released in 2021 in Malayalam. Anto Joseph, through his Anto Joseph Film Company, and Carnival Movie Network produced it. With Nimisha Sajayan, Vinay Forrt Jalaja, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, and Indrans filling supporting parts.

Malik Plot

The story in the movie is non-linear. The godfather of Ramadapally, a seaside community in Thiruvananthapuram where Muslims and Christians coexist, is Ahammadali Sulaiman. In his middle age, he prepares for the Hajj pilgrimage at Roselyn's insistence because she is a Christian. Ali and his political pal Aboobacker are about to get into a fight over buying locals' land for a harbour project. Ali is detained by police at the airport in accordance with the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA).
