The Plot of the movie Main Hoon Na Centers around Major Ram(Shahrukh Khan) has been tasked with protecting Project Milap, a risky peace endeavour with Pakistan, and also looking out for the daughter of General Bakshi, the commander in charge of Project Milap.

Ram is required to pose as a student at St. Paul's College in Darjeeling as part of the assignment. Major Ram struggles to fit in with the trendy college students as mature students.

Over 100 students are being held hostage on the campus by Raghavan (Sunil Shetty) and his men. Ram, who goes by Ram, claims to be a student but is actually on a mission that, when revealed, will reveal his true identity and two schemes that he must carry out concurrently. Ram is the only student who can save them. Main Hoon Na is remarkable for approaching the Indo-Pakistani conflict from an impartial standpoint.
