The science fiction sitcom Maharaj Ki Jai Ho! originated in India and aired on Star Plus from March 23, 2020, to May 20, 2020. It eventually moved to Star Utsav and is currently available on the streaming service Disney+ Hotstar. Satyajeet Dubey played the lead character of Sanjay in it. Due to poor viewership during the COVID-19 pandemic, the show's telecast had to be canceled in May 2020 without finishing its plot. It stars Satyajeet Dubey, Ashwin Mushran, Riya Sharma, Nitesh Pandey, Aakash Dabhade, and Saurabh Gumber.

When Dr. Albert D'Souza's time machine unintentionally opens a portal to the time of the Mahabharata during Dhritarashtra's rule in Hastinapur, small-time pickpocket Sanjay from Delhi spreads havoc in the area. When Sanjay runs into Sunaina, a robber who turns out to be the Princess of Suryagarh, love begins to bloom. The voyage focuses on the romance and comedic events that occurred in his life there as well as his eventual escape.
