M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language sports drama biopic film directed by Neeraj Pandey. It gives an insight on the life of former India Test, ODI and T20 International captain and wicket-keeper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, played by the late Sushant Singh Rajput. 

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story chronicles the life of MS Dhoni from his childhood to the moment he won India its 2nd ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in 2011. It stars the late Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani and Disha Patani in the lead roles.

The movie shows how Dhoni was more interested in playing football than cricket and how his coaches convinced him to play cricket. He later became the Ticket Collector at the Kharagpur Railway Station where he managed to continue playing cricket by representing Railways. Owing to his good performance, he tries out for India U-19 selections. He meets Yuvraj Singh during his Ranji days and they become good friends on-field as well as off-field. 

M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story also stars Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Ashrut Abhinandan Jain and Kumud Mishra as the supporting cast.

The movie ends with Dhoni hitting a 6 to win the World Cup 2011 final for India against Sri Lanka. His friends, family, coaches and the whole nation are shown celebrating and crying tears of joy.
