J.D., a young man, is at a crucial point in his life where he must select a life partner. JD is dealing with what appears to be a common set of issues that all young people face, including his mother's constant pressure to be married and the astrological forecasts that surround them. JD, who is in a pickle, engages in combat with his three pals Sandy, Sumit, and Deepak, each of whom has a different idea of what love is. All three pals try various methods to organise JD's life and plot to locate him a woman to divorce.

JD in the centre follows all the ruses and schemes and eventually runs into Tia, a contemporary and independent young woman who thinks for herself. However, much to their shock, the plot develops differently, and JD finds himself in a bigger soup than he had anticipated. JD is stuck deciding whether to obey his mother or his heart, which is a difficult dilemma.
