Love Aaj Kal is an Indian Hindi Language Romantic Comedy Movie. It was produced by Imtiaz Ali and Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films, Window Seat Films, and Reliance Entertainment. Kartik Aryan, Sara Ali Khan, Randeep Hooda, and Aarushi Sharma are playing the main lead roles. Actors like Guneet Singh Sodhi also played the remarkable role of Sara Ali Khan’s(Zoe) Punjabi Boyfriend in this movie. Love Aaj Kal was released on February 14, 2020, with a running time of 141 minutes. It was the sequel of the Imtiaz Ali-directed movie of the same name in 2009. 

The plot of Love Aaj Kal centers around a love story from 1990 and one from 2022. In a nightclub, Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan's characters Zoe and Veer first meet. Veer pulls back just before they are about to get together Since he is certain that Zoe is the woman of his dreams. She, however, dislikes commitment and prefers to concentrate on her profession. But after hearing a love tale from the 1990s about café owner Raj (Randeep Hooda), Zoe starts to regret her decisions.

The young Raj, also portrayed by Kartik Aaryan, and Leena's developing romance in flashback scenes (Aarushi Sharma). When the story jumps to the present, Zoee is forced to make a decision between her profession and her love life. 

Veer is persistent, however, and tells her, "Compromise, relationship Kissi ke saath bhi kar lunga lekin tumhare Saath nahi karunga. These couples who are separated in time cope with societal pressure, family expectations, internal conflicts over whether to put love or profession first and the always shifting dynamics of relationships.

Imtiaz's interpretation of modern love with a touch of nostalgia is Love Aaj Kal. It offers a realistic, accessible representation of two stories from different eras interacting to discover (or perhaps undiscovered) new things about love, commitment, and relationships.
